Three Jewish men, big Torah enthusiasts, have a lot to say about creation. They have some amazing insight on how we all got here and who made all that we see.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
(John 1:1–5 ESV)
According to John, Jesus made everything.
“For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”
(Colossians 1:16–17 ESV)
Paul says Jesus made everything—and it all belongs to Jesus.
Writer of Hebrews
“He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power”
(Hebrews 1:3 ESV)
Not only did Jesus make it all, he also sustains it all.
Next time someone asks you, “Did you hear what the three Jewish guys said about creation?” You can say, “Yes. Yes I have.”
